Scholarships / Prizes
A certain number of scholarships are available for both male and female students. These are granted by the Government and Non-Government agencies. Details are available with the Academic Section, Office of the Dean, Goa Medical College, Bambolim.
The following prizes and medals are available which are awarded on the Annual College Day.
1. Pranacharya Ramachandra Pandurang alias Dada Vaidya Prize in Medicine.
2. Prabhu Nasnodkar Prize in Preventive and Social Medicine.
3. Late Ramachandra Vaman Naik Karande alias F.S. Karande prize for highest marks in Final MBBS
4. Dr. Ernest Borge Memorial Scholarship in Surgery.
5. The XIX Psychiatric Conference Prize in Psychiatry
6. The Goa Medical College Prize for standing first and second in all the subjects of the MBBS course
